HiFi will add Voice Alerts and a larger external speaker pictured above. If you have ALP Connect you will not need the HiFi module because it will only produce the same sounds and voice alerts you already have through ALP Connect.

If it makes exactly the same sounds you hear through ALP Connect, how are we supposed to tell the exact radar frequency (e.g. 34704 MHz)? The ALP Connect doesn't announce the frequency verbally, it displays it on the phone screen.

HiFi will not give you verbal frequency of a radar alert... HiFi Module is just to add Voice Alerts and Voice Commands to the ALP Alerts & ALP Menus.
Does any other detector give you verbal frequencies?

Verbal, no. But most detectors (okay, most good detectors) let you know the frequency via their displays. But the ALP doesn't have a display. Would at least be nice to know which Ka sub-band I'm picking up.

If a display is that important then you would be better off getting the full Sti-R instead of just the inregrated antenna. You have several options and customers can choose what works best for them.
