My 4S works great. But still my iPhone 6 is still buggy with it. It's something in the iPhone 6
Antilaser may just end up having to buy a iPhone 6 and find out what the deal is. That's bad for them that IPhone has messed up their groove.
That would be excellent to be able to choose to use the iPhone GPS or the external GPS antenna, as it would also extend the battery life of the iPhone if you haven't got it plugged in to car power.
Kasher - yes, my 4S on 7.1.2 runs well in all departments, so I have no intention of crippling it with iOS 8. It came with iOS 5, so probably iOS 8 is one too many iterations for it to handle :)
Same here. I am just leaving it be. I am really happy with it as a dedicated display. It does drop live BT connection every few minutes and immediately reconnects. That's annoying. This is why I am not a big smart phone fan with counter measure because things tend to be buggy.
just put 8.1.1 5S, in , see how it goes, but one thing it has never dropped bt
Just another observation; the "Always" selection for the ALP app under Location Services will stay selected right up to the moment it reconnects via BT, then I have to select it again and it will stay selected right up to reconnecting the next time I drive it, etc. I've also noticed that it will intermittently go back to issuing warnings via the phone speaker instead of the hands free BT connection. Anyone else seeing this?
NBG , No Bloody Good , still gotta go into the privacy thing one go and it's gorn again, now stuck on 1kph :frusty:
this used to all work as smooth as, dont know who or what created this mess but they sure made a good job
I always have to reset To "Always" everytime but worse than that, I am constantly losing Bluetooth connection. It goes on of on off and may stay on a little and then there it goes again.
This is really pissing me off.
It's strange that as far as I can see, Bluetooth connection issues have been fixed yet there is still a problem!
Can it be possible that the system needs some type of software update to fix this?.?.?.?.
everything was ok until the apple up dates , is it possible with the 5s to back to what i had before , or just a thought has the alp connect not kept up with the apple up dates ?
Apple screwed something up. Tested an Apple 4S with IOS 8.1.1 and it was working fine. They did something with the iPhone 6 that is causing issues with the IOS.
The older phones do suck running IOS 8, And they take almost 50% more time to do anything and it kills the battery so if you have an older phone I would suggest not updating.
