Yep, most shops will honour it too.
Otherwise remind them of the ACCC laws re faulty products.
Eitherway, caught up with @dragons yesterday and we discovered it's one of my new heads.
So warranty time. :)
Cheers for your help Dragons.

Falls under this law in Australia: https://www.accc.gov.au/business/tre...ts-obligations
Which ties to this sub law: https://www.accc.gov.au/business/tre...gainst-defects
By our law, he is entitled to the unit being replaced even 3 years after warranty expires at no charge as long as the fault wasn't caused by improper use or damage.
I haven't had any issues with Tim providing warranty replacement but I do have a good relationship with him.
if thats the Law here in OZ ,Tim should be aware of this irrespective of whether or not, he should not differentiate , but i've always found Tim very helpful, but he has his moments like us all :D
I got my first 'Error 2' notification on Monday. The system repeats "Error 2 - Check cables or defective sensor" over and over again until I want to shoot myself (let it repeat itself about 20 times just to see if it would finally shut up). Doesn't seem like there is any way to mute the error other that turning the volume off to the phone all together or powering off the ALP altogether. I power cycled twice to no avail, but on the third power cycle the ALP booted up normally. Didn't happen at all yesterday or on my drive to work today, but happened again on my drive home today. Again, had to power cycle 3-4 times before I could get the system to boot up normally.
Is this the behavior others are experiencing as well? Why would the system repeat the error continually instead of just saying it once like it does with other errors?
Error 2 is an interference error and it indicates that a sensor is currently compromised and will alert until the condition is cleared. Bright direct Sun, Being trailed by cars with Laser Guidance Systems, etc. Can all trigger it. We're you in the same spot with same conditions when it triggered?
