Yeah I did all files at once too and had to spend a bit of time playing with it to get it to stay on afterwards. My issues could likely have been user error, but doing the files separately could help reduce the chances for that to happen to others.

When you do the control set do you need to manually edit the name of the file to say ".bin" at the end of it ?
No , the downloaded file is already with the correct end.
see the page :http://www.alpupdate.com/Firmware
'' NOTE: This file must be named UCSTHIFI.BIN for ALP system to recognize it.''
'' When updating the HiFi Control Set Firmware BE SURE
to plug in the USB drive with UCSTHIFI.BIN file AND switch your ALP System OFF
and back ON, for the update to work! HiFi Control Set update is required for AL PriorityŽ systems
equipped with HiFi Control Set (voice output) running firmware version 4.5.2 or later.''
I would re-phrase it this way:
System being OFF :
1) Connect physically the Hifi Control to the CPU
2) Place the UCSTHIFI.BIN + the voice pack (male or female) VOICEPCK.ALP on the usb
3) Insert the usb key to CPU
4) Fire ON the system
Pretty much what I did, and it's working fine. I installed the new control set and speaker before uploading the new firmware and voice pack. The longest part is uploading the files from your flash drive to the control set and CPU. Let it do its thing; i.e. don't turn it off, and you should be good to go.
Just tested a brand new unit with no updates and loaded all files on the one drive and there are no issues loading all files at once. It takes around 5 minutes for all files to load and get updated.
Drive included:
Attachment 3242
IMPORTANT: Please START YOUR VEHICLE or be in a power setting where your vehicle power will not cut the ignition power off or you could loose power during the update which would cause issues since the process takes over 5 minutes to load and update all of the files. In my car in accessory power after a few minutes if the car is not started accessory power will turn off. If your vehicle does the same then start the vehicle to make sure you will not have a power loss during the update.

So then the only other file I would have on my USB stick is the key file because I run in privacy mode? If so, that would be a total of 5 files.
Are there instructions on how to change settings in Laser Interference Mode? I want to run with detailed voice pak files so I know what gun I'm getting hit with.
