Looks like a bug fix is out over on alpupdate.com ;

29.1.2013. Control Box firmware update rev. 4.3.4/4.6 (29.01.2014) - Fixed wireless BT AutoMute-radar bug found in rev. 4.3.3/4.6.
Yes, We noticed a small bug in testing last night and they put out a fix this morning. Bug only effected the auto mute feature in the ALP Connect app. If you are using the Control Module with the Radar Integration than all worked fine and you will not see any difference with the latest fix.
put the latest upgrade in still no auto mute
Not sure thx will look later, got interference visitors
found it thx thats all good now, what,s the hiccup in the latest f/w,
the more i read about the ALP, the more impressed i become. You guys have come a long way with the ALP and you continue to improve your product, as someone else said 'you listen to the consumer'
stroke of genius to record encounters from users, no need to do individual testing for updates.
control FW shows 0.0. I have done the control update. Is this what it should show? I have the newest cpu firmware and that shows ok.
I also have 0.0 for control firmware and then get error 2 when i connect the B/Tooth unit???? However, it seems to work fine under the ALP App
Error 2 is a sensor error. Have you run a "Reset Defaults" from the ALP Connect App after install? That will memorize all your sensors and their positions. When you restart you should no longer have an error. If you change your configuration or you have a sensor issue you will get another error alert that something changed with the sensors.
Just did a round trip from NY to SC. Everything worked fine and then I received the ERROR2 when I stopped for gas at the SC border. I checked the sensors to make sure they worked in park mode. Everything checked out. I didn't have any problem after that. It even warned me of the polscan on I95 after that. I think the car that went by on my left got caught.
Check your wiring and make sure you have the shinkwrap on the din connectors to keep them weather proof. Also enable the parking sensors and walk around and verify that each sensor is working. If all are working you are good to go. Anytime a sensor looses connection you will get the error because it will sense a change in the positions of the connected heads.
I'm hoping to finally install my ALP/STIR this weekend. (Jeez where has the time gone since Xmas).
Tom, is there an update I need yet?
Download the latest to a USB stick and you should be good to go: http://www.alpriorityupdate.com/
If you haven't updated since Christmas you will also need the control module update. The site above will give you all the details.
i also get error 2, but only if i'm close to the garage door, out in the open every thing is fine
Hey Tom, Sorry to be a pain. But the new firmware & ALPconnect should be any day now?
I'm a bit confused on the firmware versions.
On the alpriorityupdate.com site, it lists the latest fw as: Control Box firmware update rev. 4.3.4/4.6 (29.01.2014)
On the alpriority.com site, the news section says the latest fw is ver. 1.1.5
Are both of these versions for the Control Box?
Which should I use, and do I need to contact alpriority.com support for it, or should I download everything from alpriorityupdate.com?
Thanks.
you mean this http://www.alpriority.com/news/ would think so, but brd will lets us know, about the fw #'s
Yes, this News item specifically ...
http://www.alpriority.com/new-firmwa...sed-ver-1-1-5/
The ALPupdate site must have made a mistake. The latest will be 4.3.5 / 4.7 which will be released tomorrow.

With new firmware, will we need to update ALPconnect at the same time? Or only fw changes have been made.
This is an "add-on Feature" if you plan/want to use/purchase a separate GPS receiver functionality to the "Priority" that it presently does not have.
p.s. - Do not buy just any GPS receiver...I would wait for AL to find one that will be compatible to use w/ the system...this is a separate issue from the "Defense" f/w to come soon for the Dragon Lidars...
The firmware update is international or only for usa BRD?
What guns update?
New update is available. We will be posting the notes soon and will update the first post with all the changes shortly. New update is 4.3.5/4.7 released 04-08-2014
Oh my god this system is so easy to use....Up date done first try... I just love everything about this system.
