As I mentioned LID was 4..just now I changed to 8..I always try to slow..then switch off...as I say it is very possible I shut down before slowing sufficiently but doubt it

Remove the bottom head and put it in the front and leave the 2 in the license plate area and you will have better protection. If you just disconnect the bottom sensor you will need to move the ports and correct them and use the correct R1 & R2 ports and use the F1 & F2 ports for the front sensors.
Okay..appreciate the advice
Must I do a default reset after re-configure?
Yes, Also realize a rear shot especially on a DragonCam will be focused on your license plate. The 2 heads in the license plate area where you have them would have saved you and bought you plenty of time to slow. The 3rd head on the bottom really screws the process all up. 3 heads works great if you spread heads out and keep one dead center.
'' You got hit with a newer Dragoneye DragonCam I have no doubt about it ''
Curiosity ticks me : how do you deduct this conclusion , if it is not too indiscreet ?
Also , do you think about dulling his chrome , is it of any help ?
Thanks.
We should use this case as an intox tool toward leos : those things don't work .
