Your front head location was one that I was considering as well. How secure are your rear head mounts? That's where I wanted to mount mine, but the installer I worked with said that they weren't strong enough to screw into there, so he had to create a custom bracket that mounted behind the plate.
They hold tight and don't move at all in the rear. I did the front in that location so that if I trade the car I can just buy new plugs for the hole and not have a damaged grill. I like your rear install bracket better. I would have done it that way if I had some to make me a bracket.Quote:
