No if you are running 4.3.6 you don't need to do anything but the Alp connect.

Updated app on my ATT phone no problem. Tried on my verizon and it wanted to do 1.4 again. A few tries and it finally found 1.5 and went through the motions. Opened it up and it was 1.3 Jeez!
Deleted and shut down the phone and then downloaded from App Store again. This time all went well.
The good news is I LOVE iT!
The alert and frequency is BIG enough for an old man to glance at it and catch it readily on the move. The one shot mute is very nice so it rearms after that alert goes away.
I was very happy. I'm impressed with the stellar service from BRD once again (Tom is consistent). I'm equally impressed with the product developers since they are clearly listening to the customer wants and needs.

I have red bars for parking sensors at xx mph but are you truly talking about a 0-1 mph?
Did your stat screen confirm 1.5?

I love how auto mute completely mutes the alert after 6 seconds.

mine did that for two days, even though no speed showing, on v 1.4 , even in the set up didn't use any of the gps settings, yeh i liked that as well, never made any changes to any thing this morn the warning was bak to continuous, and speed reading was working, but badly out of calibration, so was you running the 1.4 or the latest 1.5
I had 1.5. Will nuke and reload it.

Auto Mute on the Radar Alerts is set through the setup file. It is a feature and the settings are listed under Auto Mute in the Sti-R settings.
