Important Notice for Apple users Running Radar & ALP GPS with new 5.25 Firmware

If you are running your ALP system over ALPConnect installed on an Apple device (iPhone, iPod, iPad...) and if you run a radar antenna in your ALP system, you are advised not to upgrade to the newer ALP Control Box firmware before an upgrade for ALPConnect for Apple is released. If your ALP system is upgraded to the latest Control Box firmware version 5.2.5. your ALPConnect app on your iDevice might loose GPS and Radar functions.

If you have already updated please use the wired controller until we can get an update released in iTunes for ALP Connect for Apple.

Android Users are not effected.

This will be an App update, not an Al Priority update correct?

Yes, The ALP CPU and Wired controllers have no issue with the latest update. Just a new ALP Connect for IOS is needed to adjust for several of the latest firmware changes.

any idea when the new app will be ready. I just had my system installed with the bluetooth module and am waiting to download the app so I can run it with my phone.

Its in Beta Testing and we hope to have it released by the end of the month.
