I'm thinking how to install a relay to switch off the rear stop lights when I'm hit by a laser from the rear. I don't want that the cops see me braking.
Did you do this modification? How did you with the ALP?

Are you in an area where radar detectors and/or laser jammers are illegal? I've always felt the cops would rather see someone give them a little respect and hit the brakes rather than go sailing by oblivious to their presence. If you hit the brakes I feel like they at least know you are paying attention.

Yes, radar detectors are illegal here. The cops are hidden, so when the laser jams I shouldn't know that I'm hit. So I want to install a relay connected to the ALP and the fuse box of the car.

Or just hit the brakes anyway. If the cop pulls you over and questions you, tell him you saw him in the rearview and hit the brakes, like everyone does when they see a cop.
Brake light kill switches are a huge liability risk. I don't recommend them.
I think it's better to make a LEO a little suspicious and take maybe 2 seconds longer to JTK because you downshifted instead of slamming the brakes, than to have another car hit your rear bumper...or just tell the LEO that you saw him in the mirror and hit the brakes.
