Belltronics STIR, how do I know it works?

I just installed a AL priority system along with a belltronics STIR. The system tests good, all sensors found. But how do I know if the STIR is working? The red light on the add on module comes on and I think it's working, but not sure. I guess that I will find out after driving a bit.

Did you turn on the bands on the setup file? You will as with any detector know it's working by pulling into any shopping sensor with an automatic door opener and getting a false radar alert.

Yep, I turned on the K and KA bands. Looks like a drive past the grocery store is in order. Thanks!
