My buddy just had his new ALP installed and it's not booting. In fact, it's a weird clicking noise. Here's a video. Any ideas what this could be?

Try starting it up with USB drive inserted with Control Set firmware on the drive.
I had him do that. Hifi control set firmware, cpu firmware, and setup
I now have him plugging in the Bluetooth module and seeing if it will boot up with the BT module. If it'll allow him to do that, he just might be able to get all the firmware installed on it and get it working.
To update the controller he needs to have the controller connected. If this is a new install the BT will not be recognized until he first updates the system with the controller.Quote:

Ok, HiFi back in and only HiFi update and Voicepack on the USB. Clicking has stopped, no LEDs blinking at all.
Update the CPU Firmware and load a settings file.
If HiFi is not turning on check power cables and all connections.
