What CM's are needed for the Calgary area? What about Alberta in general? I heard they have photo radar and photo LIDAR? Any AB members please chime in. Also, to confirm, LEO's cannot confiscate RD's in Alberta either, if seen in use in a vehicle? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
Radar detectors are allowed in BC, AB and SK.
As for the rest of the info, I am looking forward to find out myself! In 2-3 weeks I will be back in southern AB for a few months!!!
A quick search on beyond.ca didn't reveal any specific information on exactly which LIDAR guns are being used in Calgary, just that they are in use.
From what I read the DragonCam is an issue in Edmonton. I haven't read about it being used in Calgary, but it may be.
RCMP uses radar and laser, as far as I know.
I've got an ALP system so the Dragon is not an issue for me. I was more curious about what the real threats are in the City of Calgary. I got some answers on the other site as well. The more info. the better.
