Any benefit for more than 2 ALP sensors in front on mid-size car?

Hi experts,

Any better protection running more than 2 ALP sensors on the front of a mid-size car (BMW 535Xi)? Like 3 on the front and 2 on the back? Any extra bang for the buck? All I have seen is 2 on most small to mid-size vehicles on the front.

Several BMW's have been tested with 2 heads and they performed very well. Its not a very large vehicle so you should be fine with the 2 sensors on the front end.

You can always start with two sensors, test and if needed go to three. Most cars only need two.

2 on the Front & same on the Rear & you're golden. :thumbs2:

I dont know if it is a wider front end then my civic, But i have 2 in the lower bumper and it was bullet proof on from the Tru SpeedS... I still need to make it to a Lidar meet to get tested against the nasty guns... But as was stated go with 2 , get tested and go from there but i as well think 2 will be good and make sure they are placed in a good spot and level/squared

I have two sensors on my front end, so far it's been bullet proof to any gun no matter where it's aimed be it CM/RHL/PHL or even my E-Tag.. I was going to add a third just because I could but really it would just be a waste of money..
When antilaser produced the ALP with possibility for three heads at the front I am sure they had much larger vehicles in mind, than just a regular passenger car.
I'd out the extra money towards either a Bluetooth module or R/G module and STI-R+ head.

I use three heads in the front of my vehicle because it's a ford F150 with Chrome all around it. So It's too risky to go with two heads even though I believe it will protect me with just two heads 98.0% of the times. But the that 2% scares me to play it safe , LOL... I use only one in the rear for now for financial reasons and it jams well 85% of the time but I definitely need another one for the rear. Truck has a large rear also. LOL

That's totally understandable on a truck that size! On smaller cars having problems with PT's it really seems the main issue is head placement and also angle, little adjustments can have a massive effect.

Ah yes yes. My comment might have appeared to favor the 3 in the front. But Your right dragons, three in the front of my truck because it's much larger than most vehicles. I totally agree that two with proper alignment is golden. Thanks for clarifying comment. :)
