Lurked for a couple of hours one evening and had to join! Seems like a great place to hang. Was reviewing my driving record over the last 3 years, and all of my tickets where radar / laser encounters. Not sure which because I have never installed my ancient detector so that I could conveniently remember to turn it on. I have on the way a 9500ix with mirror mount and mirror power tap. I intend to learn more on this forum before plunking down big bucks on laser jamming.

Welcome to the forum. The 9500ix was my first modern radar detector. It all went down hill from there.
Feel free to ask questions. Your radar detector is only as good as the person driving the car. Learn to interpret the information it gives you.
