Error 2
Hi,
After having sent my new controller back due to error messages I think from memory error 4 and 6 I was told there was nothing wrong and all was fine.
Upon installing I got error 2. I did reset default and all seemed good. Tonight, start her up and error 2.
All cables are tight and connection shrink wrapped.
Also since the latest App upgrade, the iPhone when it connects pauses the music and I have to physically pause the unit and unpasteurised and then it starts playing. As well often I am not getting normal volume from the music.
Possibly bug or just does not want to be fully compatible with my music system?
However, main concern is this error 2
Any ideas?
Thanks guys

Do you get error 2 all the time, or only once on start up?

i get that if i start up in the garage the sensors are to close to a wall or some thing, put ur car in the open see if it goes when u start up, also if the sensors are wrong, but doing a default puts all the sensors correct so think you may just be to close, if so that,s normal

Will try that, I actually think I read that somewhere as well so you are probably right.
Will give it a go
Thanks:rofl-1:

Only heard of this issue now twice and only from users in Australia. It must have something to do with starting your vehicles with the parking sensors being activated because they are close to an object. I tried to replicate this here using the US Modes without any luck so it might have something to do with your region settings. In any case all seems to work fine after startup.

Error 2 on start-up in case when sensors are picking-up an obstacle (wall, garage,...) is a bug that has been solved recently. This fix will be available in next firmware update.
This effect does not influence the performance of the ALP in any way, so you can simply ignore it.

I will get an "Error 2" as well, if my garage door is closed. 99.9% of the time, I'd never start the car with my garage door closed, but one time when I turned the car "on", my ALP connect kept giving me the "Error 2" message.
I figured it had to be the proximity of my garage door being closed and the parking sensors being active. As soon as I opened the garage door, the errors stopped. I figured it had to be related.
Glad to hear the bug is getting fixed with the next update.
