View Full Version : Sealant Peeling From Around Lenses

I noticed this when I removed them to do a re-installation. My current was not very good.
I flakes at the slightest touch.
So....... I am getting no errors (yet) and am in warranty if it applies but would just assume re-coat them if advised the right stuff to keep my warranty.
The stuff looks like regular RVT and I have some Permatex ultra black and small brushes.

I am an industrial maintenance technician mechanical of more years than I care to reveal. I can handle it but want to touch base first.

I've used a non corrosive sealant 5613,
Seals electrical connections, PCB's, insulates terminals, leads and splices.100% silicone rubber No objectionable odor. Non corrosive by-products
- Waterproof.
- -65F to 392F (-54C to 200C)
- 85g Tube
