Have my system half installed (3 head front), (Rear will require a lot more panel removal and may need to wait for warmer weather) anyway is there some way to read and display the configuration from the ALP control unit. Would be valuable to see what is there before making changes. Overall very nice unit. Tnx

Maybe I need to add this to the future update list. :D

You can pull a statistics report and you will get 2 files a setup file with your current settings and a stats file with additional info including a report of all past alerts.

Ok. How do I read the setup file?

Rocketman59.......I just did this a couple of days ago, so hopefully I remember the procedure correctly.....I use a separate Verbatim flash drive, from the Verbatim flash drive with the update on it, and I download the Statistics File and the Configuration File on to it from my ALP system. I insert the flash drive with the Stats and Config files into a USB port in my laptop. Then, go to the page BRD links to above. You will see a window saying "Browse". Select the drive that your flash drive is on, in your computer. The flash drives contents will be shown: Statistics, and Configuration. Select one of the files, then select Upload. The contents of the file you have selected will be displayed on your computer. Print a copy if you wish. Then select the other file on your flash drive. Select "Upload" and the contents will be displayed on your computer. Print a copy if you wish.

The above may seem like a lengthy process, but it is really very simple. It can be done quicker than the time it takes to read what I wrote above.

Good Luck. If you encounter any problems or have questions, just ask, and I or another member will be glad to help.

Thanks, That worked great. Now to test my system with a couple of LIDAR guns.

Glad to hear everything went well for you. By performing the downloading of the Stats file after you perform the loading of new firmware, you will be able to see and confirm exactly what firmware version is in your ALP system, as well as the CPU hardware version, etc. And, by downloading the Config file, you will be able to visually see and confirm all of the settings you have selected for your Profiles (A, B, C) if you use the Profiles. Too bad we don't live closer to each other, as I would offer to "shoot" your system and test them for you.
