Just resolved an issue with info provided from Alex CDN distributor..if you load 5.2.6 and do not opt to enable any parking option in your configuratin file, the control will alert a sensor error at boot...at least this happened for me on 2 systems

With the movement into online config files for users of ALP Connect the ALP Update site has been undergoing changes and if a user has an ALP Config file that is NOT Current it will throw a checksum error and reset defaults and force an updated config file to be loaded. If you update the config file the message will go away. If you instead reload your old file and not a new one the error will come back.

Okay I have a mea culpa..just as Tom predicted I ended up having a bum sensor..rear.Replaced it today with a new (no warranty..bummer) and it looks like my issues have been resolved..when in doubt best heed the experienced word [emoji106]

Well if appears the issue is still active..one connector..that same wire of which I replaced the sensor is still giving a fault..except when I plug it to a front socket (it's a rear sensor) don't know what the hell is going on

Interesting to know what may be the cause to the bum sensor?

> Have you washed your car with high pressure hose?
> Have you used a Laser interceptor remote or other kind remote to test your unit?
> Have you shot a laser gun too close to sensor?

Do you have an extension cable?

Yes it's connected to an extension cable..I put a new sensor on this cable and this cable appears (have not tested) to work properly when plugged into a front socket

Firstly this cct has a new sensor installed and still appears to fault..
regardless..yes to pressure washer...yes to laser tester and no to laser gun..

I'm going to try this..

plug the rear two into the front two (omit center front sensor for now)
plug the front two outer into the rear ports

I'll really be stymied if this set up works okay :)

May have a revelation..First I removed the BT ver:1 module that I never really used...then I did a complete reconfigure removing all sensors and re-inserting each in their home location one at a time doing a re-learn reboot each time..and each time got a clean boot..and finally with the BT gone all seems okay...did possibly the upgrade to the last latest f/w 5.2.6 possibly cause a conflict with the BT module ver:1 ????
After several power off and reboots without the BT module in the works everything appears okay...fingers crossed !!

Question..what is the alert if the power level is deficient or inadequate...does the control box alert to this ?...

Yes, I had a battery with a failed cell, and the the alert (through hi-fi) was something like 'warning - low battery voltage'

Dayum...I think this whole episode may be battery/power level related...do you know what the alert is from the control unit ?

Just looked at the manual ;

ERRORS:*
LED constant red + 1 beep:
Error 1; low voltage, check vehicle power supply

Hmmm..doesn't sound like it but I thank-you for this..it's so odd because it only does it some of the time..gotta do more trouble shooting

yep does the same with me the low battery power , must have a sensitive voltage warning threshold

If you run with control box what type of code alert do you get ? TIA...so I'm confused why you're asking again.

Do you have 2 different AL-P sys b/c of 2 vehicles ?
1. Basic Control Set (non HiFi) - ERRORs:*
LED constant red + 1 beep:
Error 1; low voltage, check vehicle power supply

2. HiFi Control Set:
* If you are using a HiFi Control Set w/ an exterior speaker, instead of error and warning tones you will hear descriptive information for each specific error.
