Looking good Tom.

How's the K filter going - would be nice to replace my STi-R+ head with something that has k filtering as good as an LRD 950 on latest firmware, and can still detect a Kustom Raptor RP-1 on k band (polarised) with good warning.

Cheers

Jon

K filter is as good as the LRD-950 or better. We will have separate MRCD antenna to help with MRCD and if you can get me information or sample of those other systems we can do testing on those.

What is this new "net radar?

Spectre Proof? It is an all new RD that BRD commissioned (at great personal expense, I'm sure) to be developed so as having capability of addressing the modern Speed Enforcement threats we now face like the MRCD/MRCT & other such low power nightmares coming out from EU mfgr's. The icing on the cake is projected much improved BSM/ACC,etc. filtering to reduce the false alerts we're presently suffering with.

Spectre "resistant" to 25ft comes very close to RDD !
It is not standalone, but made to fully integrate w/ the AL-P.

Nice to see you back again, ba.

Haha, 23ft too far for many in the land of the RDD.
But it's a nice addition to the line up :)

And cheers, finally poking my head back into it.
Get some life back into RALF. :)

Raises an interesting point. I haven't seen a Spectre mounted in any Ontario Leo in well over 5 years. Are they considered obsolete or do enough unsuspecting Yankees come over the border to feed the beast?

I have not been to Ontario Prov. in 3 yrs+ & have no idea if OPP still uses them. OPP can still tell if you have CMs if you get shot & make the mistake of hitting the brakes & your TLs glow.

Net Radar has one of the best K Filters for preventing false K alerts.

You mean in between all those bsm alerts? Lol There ya go, no need to touch the brakes anymore...it's pedal-to-the-metal mode ! :glee:

But the point I'm getting to is I might be willing to give up some rdd protection to reduce k band alerts which I am now basically ignoring

If he's in the Median, then move over to the far right Lane...if he's on the right Road Shoulder area- move over to the left into the Fast Lane. Either way, you'll be more than 24ft away & out of detection range zone.
