Radar Antenna Disconnected

Lately I've been getting a Radar Antenna Disconnected Message
The antenna is connected and no obvious error there
The funny thing is, I get the warning, yet it still picks up Radar and other times, I get no message at all.
However, in the last few days, the error has appeared and on a few occasions, I got no warnings when passing through known false alert areas, leaving me to believe it's not working
Any ideas from anyone?
I suspect the module may be faulty on the radar side as the GPS side is working fine

Your STIR Antenna might also be failing. How long have you had it?

Same thing is happening to me. Tried trading out the R/G module from my other setup, but the issue persists. I got my STi-R Plus Receiver as part of the "ALP-Radar Radar Add-On" package in November 2014. Is 3 years the typical life expectancy for these antennas? Any repair options?

Abarth, like you noted in a seperate thread (http://radarandlaserforum.com/showthread.php/8897-GPS-Speed-threshold-not-working/page2?highlight=radar+antenna+disconnected), I'm also not seeing GPS speed accurately reflected some of the time. Not sure if this is related or a seperate bug, but the issues seem to have started around the same time.

If you antenna says it's disconnected then it failed and would have to be serviced by Beltronics. Antennas only had a 1 year warranty.
