My LE-30 Dual still does good despite everyone telling me its useless.
So here I am looking into modernization.

Really not a lot of options to consider unless you have gobs of money and are an early adopter ... considering you are still using a Lidatek forget that last statement. ALP is really the go to mfg to be fully protected

It does well as long as you're hit with PL3 and Ultralyte. Your first hit with a DALA/Dragon or Stalker XLR and you'll be toast.

^ - What he said,above.
Even for the Legendary LE-10 I've not had a problem defeating them all w/ modern Lidar guns of today.
Thanks,
I'm looking at ALP but see how they keep recommending a 3rd head on folks when two that are withing the recommended 24-inch spread spec. It don't add up. So I keep looking.

The amount of heads is determined by the threats you face and not necessarily only the size of the car. In Georgia where you travel they are heavily Lider and they use the latest threats and for full protection you will need 3 upfront.

Well there's always Escort Laser Shifter Pro .. They don't recommend 3 heads

They also don't even alert to those guns so you decide what is important. There is a reason even Stinger requires a 3/2 setup.

The optics are getting better - so tighter laser beam means you need more headed. Older lasers had wider beams - these new ones are tight.
Take care
