Hi all,
just wanted to introduce myself and let you know about me. I live in Europe and in my country we have probably the highest fines for speeding worldwide. Also any kind of CM's passive or active is strictly illegal, that's also valid for any Apps like Waze or Integrated Spot Lists in GPS Units.
Nevertheless I bought my very first Radar Detector more than 20 years ago, but was being caught inflagranti by LEO shortly after...
Then there was a longer CM break with many tickets, loss of drivers license for a few months.... Never had any accident though for more than two decades. So I don't consider myself as a brainless speeder. I like to drive fast when my environment allows it to do so.
A couple of years ago I decided to buy a V1, which worked quite good. With the addition of YaV1 it became more quiet :-) But with the increasing MRCD and LIDAR Based speed enforcement devices it became obsolete.Today we have a lot of fully automatic TrafficObservers around here, LEO has mobile handheld Leivtec XV2/XV3, Riegl FG-21P and LTI TruCam.
Last year I dumped my V1 and installed a Stinger VIP incl Laser HD jammer. Stinger is doing a great job in detecting MRCD Radar sources, but the Laser side still missing coverage of the XV3.
After a year with the Stinger VIP I just purchased a dual AL Priority. I will keep the Stinger and will add the ALP jammers to cover all the LIDAR guns around here.
