Hello all
I am very happy with the STiR warning of speed cameras ahead.
The database is regularly updated & I have faith in the system
However, I do recall reading somewhere (unsure of the source) that the ALP system is an effective CM against speed & red light cameras.
Can anyone here speak with knowledge to this?
I'm more interested in speed cams, as running reds is not in my routine.
But for the group, it seems information regarding both would be useful in any replies.
Thanks
Ed

ALP has nothing to do with speed cameras unless they use laser such as the Poliscan system. Most of these cameras are based off of Radar and not laser.

Or sensors in the road
Where would they be in use?

Pretty much anywhere that has stationary red light/speed cameras uses magnetic and other sensors in the road for lane and speed detection....
