Ok I am pretty sure I have convinced myself to go with a full 5 sensor ALP set-up for my CTS-V Wagon but what I am still wrestling with is what I want to do for RD portion. I love the idea of the STiR receiver integration and running everything thru ALP controller (or BT Phone App....side question, can both fixed controller and BT Connect module be connected so fixed controller is available if I don't have phone or don't want to run App?). But many say if going with the STiR, you lose too many benefits of not running it stand alone with its own controller and known GPS filtering capabilities (I definitely plan to run ALP GPS set-up for speed based defense vs parking mode). Now other option is the V1 integration into the ALP system (I assume the BT Connect APP still works with this as well?) which from my understanding still offers full V1 capabilities when integrated into ALP system. The clean and concealer install inside the cabin is a huge selling point for me so not sure how "clean" an install can be with the V1 (I don't like a turd hanging on my window that also says hey come steal me). I'm more of a set-it once kind of guy so I don't want have to be constantly updating settings and/or pressing buttons to mute falses all the time either (maybe I am asking for too much here). Would love to see your bullet points on why integrating one system to the ALP (or not) vs the other would likely satisfy my preferences more.

You cannot use both the fixed controller and ALP Connect (BT controller) at the same time. You'd have to switch them back and forth manually.

I'm not sure why you're concerned about losing GPS capabilities with the STiR+ integration, and you're considering the V1 integration (which also doesn't have GPS). The V1 never had GPS capabilities; only YaV1 gives it that capability and that has nothing to do with the ALP.
