I have the RG 2 Module and the 9500CI antenna in this new setup. I assume I hook the 9500CI up to the STiR slot on the RG module? I also have the GPS antenna, and from what I read, I can either hook it up to the "G" port on the ALP CPU where the sensors hook to, or the GPS slot on the RG2 module?
Is there any difference hooking the GPS to one or the other?
Just FYI this is a HIFI system, and I am integrating the 9500CI antenna and ordered the GPS antenna as well.
Thanks for your help guys. Love this Forum.

The 9500CI antenna does go in the Sti-R slot (they are 'essentially' the same thing as far as the ALP is concerned). I run mine there.
Regarding the second question it was my understanding that there is the GPS port on the module that you will plug the GPS into. I think it's even labeled 'GPS' IIRC?
BRD will chime in for sure on the second part.

If using the RG Module the GPS antenna needs to be connected to the GPS port on the RG Module.

Figures BRD would Post before I got back from AL website to confirm: (hahaha)

Thanks everyone............I saw the "GPS" designation on the RG module, but also saw you can plug gps into the CPU G slot in the Owners Manual booklet. Did not see where it was required to plug into the RG. Maybe I missed it?
Just wanted to confirm before hooking all these parts upend tidying up under the dash. Still don't know final placement for the CPU...space is limited under these 911 dashes.

If utilizing the RG Module (Radar & GPS Module) the G port will no longer recognize the GPS Antenna when connected to the G port which is actually the (G - Graphics) port for a future display. The G port can only be used to connect a GPS antenna on V2 CPU's if no RG Module is present. On V1 CPU's the G port is strictly for the Graphics Controller.

Nice to have an extra port for new offerings from ALP!
