Hi, I am new to site and looking to get the ALP on my car but can't decide on 4 or 5 sensors.

What is the coverage radius from 1 sensor? how low or high (measurement) can I put the sensor to get max coverage? How far can it detect threat?

Thanks

What kind of vehicle is it?

typical car and small suv only needs 2 on either side. larger suv and trucks would be safer to go with 3 front 2 rear.

You get about 18" coverage on any side of the sensor. sensors should be no more then 36" apart.

detect distance depends on the incoming source - the alp will detect at any distance as long as there is a source. (most typical lidar guns are only good to 2000 feet, except newer VPR guns exceed that range)

The city I am in,like to hide on top of bridge and aim at the rear end of vehicles. That's why I was thinking either "red" or "blue" placement. Or any recommend placement?

Have the Receiver "bubbles" on the in-board sides on both Front & Rear. The Lidar guns used in your area have a range of 6000ft. if you're located where I think you are.

Haha...It's well known around here

There are lots of guys from Edm on here already if you need help with it... Agreed on the red front/blue rear placement.
