If you have an the original RG Module with a Beltronics Sti-R Plus or 9500CI radar integration there is no need to update. The new module only adds communication support for the Valentine 1 radar detector.

You need an ESP V1 if you want to integrate a V1's alerts with an ALP.

Tom will i be able to still use the remote speaker for the V1? I have all the bells with my V1... Im just unsure what this will do for me... Will it just send all my V1 alerts to the ALP speaker? and will it take over control of the laser on the V1...
