Thanks to red rocket for suggesting I look over here.
Been off line for a few yrs with kids etc and just had my 9500ix international stolen so thought I"d go online and catch up with whats been happening in the detector world.

We Yanks don't know much about the threats of radar & laser you guys in NZ deal w/ everyday, but do seek assistance from the Aussie's in choosing the best RD you need. They have the experience & knowledge from the most dangerous Law Enforcement has to throw at them down-under.
