I came across this sight and find it interesting, hopefully helpful. I have an older model V1, I did the update about one year ago. There are many farm vehicles here, they have
x and or k band. Is there a way to block these out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks jack

Welcome to the forum. By any chance do you have an Andoid Smartphone? If so you can look into YaV1 to work with your V1 to help ignore some of those false alerts.

Welcome to the forum. The V1 is a great radar detector. As long as you haven't seen a true x band threat, you can turn off reception of X band. You will find those instructions on Valentine's website. Additionally, you can turn on TSR which will reduce K band false alerts. I would also look into the Android app YaV1. Feel free to ask more questions.

BT Requires a phone that supports BT 4.0 and Android 4.3 or later.

YaV1 is an awesome app a slight learning cure at least for me, I run it with savvy and the V1 bluetooth module. YaV1 can simulate savvy also, without the need of actual buying savvy. Good luck !
