For an even more OEM appearance I'd like to use some touch up paint to make my sensors (rear) less obvious.
what is your advice? Can I paint the entire visible sensor? Paint all but the oblong circle (which I assume is the actual "eye")? Or, keep your damn paint off the things!!!
Thanks,
Leo

The circle is the receiver and the other part is the transmitter. Putting paint over either is not a good thing.

Not the answer I'd hoped for, but that's why I asked. THANKS!!
How about leaving the front alone and just painting the sides of the enclosure?

Sides should be fine from a functional standpoint. But where are you mounting them that it would matter? Most rear setups put the rear sensors right above the license plate, in a place where you can't really see the sides from a standing position.

That's where they are. But they protrude a bit and just look kinda added on. Anything I could do to minimize that (especially something so easy) would be good.
I just tried to take photos of the installation, but night wasn't helpful. Assuming I can figure out how to post my installation, I'll see if I can do that tomorrow or the next day.
Again, thanks a lot.

So the answer for all us that want to paint, JUST paint the outer of the head, DO NOT paint any of the FRONT of the parking sensor. Thanks

Yes, buy a black car

OR you can paint the body's, I had this on my lpps, it just makes them less obvious and will be doing this on my LAs when I do a new install on my new car (unless its black that is )
