Just wondering if anyone is running ALPs on their bike?

Would you still need two heads to beat the dragons or would one work?

I would like to get some front heads and IF I decide to upgrade my 9500ix, I will be mounting the 95 on the bike w/bluetooth to my helmet for alerts

I don't have ALP but have the Stinger Card Version with 3 heads, 1 front and 2 @ 45deg for the poliscan's rear facing hear in WA Australia. Bluetooth works very well with the Sena SMH10R and SR10 so you are the right way to getting something to work.

2 head ALP with your 95 sounds like a good option.

I have an ALP quad on my bike, absolutely must have two heads on each end to defeat VRP/VRRP lidar. If you aren't concerned with those, one head on each end Wil take care of the regular lidar guns.

The 9500ix will require the SR10, which is about $170, plus the SMH10R headset. (If you go with Sena). However if you go with an RD that integrates with your smartphone via bt, like the V1, then you can eliminate the need for an audio bt transmitter (SR10).

I used a brand new 9500ix earlier this year setup this way; it all worked but the unit that I got absolutely sucked in range compared to my V1. YMMV of course ;)

I think you can use the live cord to get your Escort detector audio to your phone though? Check with the Escort gurus here, BRD will know for sure.

We have tons of VRP/VRRP lidar here so looks like Ill be buying another quad setup!

More concerned about that than Ka detection. The 9500 should be fine for our area. I found another bluetooth transmitter/speaker to use on a bike forum that someone else did with another detector setup.
