Hmmm no one has welcomed you yet, so let me be the first, fellow Canadian!
The best jammers out right now are the Antilaser Priority. After some research you should formulate your own conclusion but beware of the tests by people like Radar Roy. For unbiased results look at the recent test data by RALETC. I have personally been to one event and had my setup tested. It was a great experience and meeting people I talk to on here makes it that much more personal while discussing on the forum now.

Welcome.
You'll probably be advised to upgrade your radar detector too, currently the best tested units are STiR+ , RedLine & V1.
AL Priority is the only current choice for complete lidar protection.

Welcome to the forum. While not the very best, the 8500 x 50 is quite respectable as a RD. You need jammers first.

Yup, that's the plan. StiR+ and a Jammer. I realize that ALP is the best at jamming Dragoneye, but I kinda like the fact that LI has voice alerts and is cheaper. Also considering Shifter Pro. So many choices. I am planning to install in my Honda S2000 (which should be relatively easy) and my Mercedes E350 (which will be much more difficult). Does anyone have experience installing a shifter in the E350? I would like to access the "advice on placement" forum, but it appears to be restricted. How do I gain access?
Also, does anyone know which laser guns are used by Vancouver Traffic Enforcement?
Is Laser Interceptor still in business? Every single item on their website says "out of stock"
Thanks

There are a lot more benefits to the ALP then just the Dragon Eye guns... You should do some research and look at the past testing results. Retail price difference on both systems at the moment on s dual is a whole $50-$150 depending if you are in the US or Canada. Even if it were several hundred more you should consider what the future would bring and the costs involved if you decide you need the ALP later. You are in Canada and they use the DragonCams there and they shoot from the rear. I strongly suggest you re-think your plans.

Welcome to the forum. I only recommend the AL Priority for the following reasons:
1. It is the only current laser jammer providing timely firmware updates to new LIDARS and new LIDAR firmware revisions.
2. Smaller head size increases mounting options and enables you to have a significantly more visually appealing installation.
3. options and expandability:
a. Bluetooth and voice alerts through your Bluetooth enabled car stereo or external speaker. Visual alerts on phone. Alert logging.
1. android
2. Apple
b. Radar detector integration. STiR+ currently. Others planned
c. HIFI module. Due out by end of year.
d. Other future options that haven't been publically disclosed.
4. Ability to connect 5 heads to CPU.
5. Most modern laser jamming system. The system itself is a full generation or more ahead of all its competition.
6. Highest engineering and manufacturing standards.
7. A reliable and honest US distributor, who offers excellent support.

I can also vouch for the Canadian Antilaser Distributor Alex @ kmph.ca

ALP is definitely the "front runner". My biggest problem is finding anywhere to mount in on the Merc E350. The entire grill is attached to the front hood and moves up with it and there is no way I can see to install the ALP priority heads without cutting the grill (which is totally out of the question). How do I get access to the "advice on placement" forum?
