When I was driving home on Sunday the ALP app informed that ERROR 3 was occurring. When I got home I pm'ed BRD. He told me what it was so I thought I would share it here in case someone has this in the future.

ERROR 3 - Sensor Error. At Certain time intervals the sensors are all polled. It does not mean an actual failure has occurred but a head did not respond when polled. It is recommended to pull a statistics file and make sure all sensors are still online. If all the sensors are still online there is nothing to worry about but if it shows a different actual configuration you be able to pinpoint which sensor failed.

What if you don't run the app, how the ALP notify you?

If there is an error the control module will beep the error code and repeat several times before going back to normal mode. If error 3 it will beep 3 times pause and repeat several times.

I got the Error 3 on my ALP but when I rebooted, everything was fine. Interestingly, I got the Error 3 right after upgrading the firmware (both CPU and HiFi Control Set Voicepack) and NOT powering down for over 60 minutes after upgrading...then I rebooted once and the system stayed stuck in some sort of boot state (solid green light and no output from the speaker). Rebooted again, keeping the system powered down for 30+ seconds and everything has been fine since.
