As you might be able to see the cables for the rear heads are not reaching the controller box near the steering wheel. Would connecting an Ethernet cable coupler and connecting an additional ethernet cable fix this "little dilemma"?

You can get extenders from BRD. Or just move the CPU into the center console or under your seat. Problem solved. :)

Only problem is extension cables would go on the opposite end of the cable and require re-running those wires. In the future always start at the control box and run the wires to the rear this way if your short you can just add the extension. You can get a coupler and a straight wire but AL can not guarantee the connection. AntiLaser uses very high quality shielded and weather proof cables and a coupler and extension cable might might degrade the signal.

I'm trying to avoid re running the cables. Do you know what kind of cable antilaser uses? is Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6? also do you know what company makes them?

Thanks for the help!

They are not standard cables. If you use a coupler make sure they are straight through and also use a straight through cable or you can damage the heads and CPU.

Thanks! I decided to play it safe and bought the extension cables.

Smart move. No reason to create a problem when there is not one.

I just finished installing the rear heads a week after I installed the front heads. Do I need to do anything to the controller box?

Run a factory default so that your ALP will learn and memorize the new sensor locations.

Tnank you. I imagine I do not need to reload the firmware update again after a factory reset?

Correct, You will only need to reload the settings file with your settings because when you run a factory default the settings will be reverted to default settings.
