Vertical Heads at Rear ?

Due to my rear configuration i am planning to place my heads vertically

Is it really bad or i can go this way ?

Can you give me a % of loss ...i am ready to loose a bit but gain in stealth... we have

I plan to use a thick piece of clear plexiglass that will channel the receiving\emitting front
of the head , this piece will fit in the space between the chassis\door.

This is the general idea , it is hard to explain clealy , i should do more pics when i receive my sensors
around friday.

I used the same way with my li and the response toward my osprey is quite good .
Too bad i dont own a real gun ...i guess nobody in the all province has such tool .

Great idea , but i cant ....i promised my Wife not to modify\drill the new Suv :rofl-1:

Mounting them near the plate will give better
results then vertical.

I see no issue with vertical mount on the rear if you are protecting against rear shots from over passes. The issue will be off axis rear shots....

This is why I run quad rear, 2 vertical and 2 horizontal.

Update :

i recieved the rear sensors , after all thinking and figuring i went the good old way ,
adding a small illusion : to cut the contrast i place a stretch of electrical tape :

Bring them in as close to the edges of the red tail lights towards the CM of the car.
That will protect you from up close shots that overpasses are known for.

PS you have the best car for rear head placement for stealth....
