I have been trying to update firmware on new ALP - it tells me it is 1.1.4

I keep getting 7 blinks/beeps when trying to update to 4.3.4 or what ever the latest is. File size is 458 KB and named U#######.bin (#'s are my serial number).

I haves tried 2 different USB sticks FAT/FAT 32 SanDisk to no avail, Tried both extention for usb and direct to control box, Any clues????

Stuck in parking mode, HELP! :frusty:

EDIT -- Update on Update - Turns out I had to register my ALP before I got a working update (new security from ALP). It all makes sense now and if it was mentioned somewhere I missed it. I guess it is a very recent added security feature.

Went to http://www.alpriority.com/contact/#registration put in info and was sent an email explaining about update. Downloaded update and it worked perfectly.

This company and representatives have AWESOME and TIMELY support, I am very satisfied, Thanks BRD (Tom) and ALP

I have tried to update all 3 files available in every order, all 3 on a stick and one at a time on a stick, no difference. The Main Firmware will not load, I get 7 beeps, and I think with out that file nothing else will work

Glad you are back up and running. New procedure is to register your unit on the ALP website and once registered your serial number will be activated and you will be able to download the firmware. This only effects the main CPU firmware. We will create a new setup guide which will include this new procedure hopefully tonight sometime.
