Question on what to buy

I know some of the other Laser Jammers I have been looking at recommend getting two sensors for the front and one for the rear. I drive a new model Audi A4 and was wondering if one sensor on the front and one on the rear would be sufficient with the AL system? Thanks for your help

For proven protection you would want two in both the front and the rear. Some do run a single sensor but I do not suggest it as you will get PT's when closer.

One Sensor each for Front & Rear will NOT give you sufficient protection.Do not make this mistake or you will regret it when receiving your citation.

No doubt, that 2 front 2 rear is the best setup if you want to be bullet proof.

With that being said, 1 is better than none if you are on a budget.

I have 2 ALP up front and 1 ALP on the rear of my BMW.

This past weekend in testing, I was 100% JTG on the front on all 5 guns we used: Stalker LZ1, PL3, PL2, Marksman, Truspeed and TruSpeed S.

With the single sensor on the rear, I was also 100% JFG with all guns, with the TruSpeed S being the only exception. I was JFG even on the TruSpeedS on passenger rear and center mass with 1 punch through. They got my speed at will on the drivers tail light.

I will eventually get a 2nd sensor on the rear to shore up any holes.

In GA, only state patrol can shoot at rear. Fortunately for now they use PL3, where I am 100% protected on the rear with the single sensor. I would not feel so comfortable in an area with the TruSpeedS.

I was thinking of just one sensor in the rear of my MX5. If I mount it in center above the plate I will have it about 10" from each light. How far is your sensor from the lights?

Two heads no question... After testing a single head on the rear of my Impreza hatch we got too many PT's to be confident in it's jamming ability.

I have two on the front, it was solid with two, there were no PT's to be had even aiming at my E-Tag.

Yeah go the two on the rear.
I was getting Pt on dragons car far too easily for my taste on his rear right tail lights.
Cm and left side was fine.

as others have said, 2 front and 2 rear.
i would say that if you can't afford 2 rear, one will suffice for most money grabbing leaches and you can install the second one later. The problem with this is it is much harder to run the wires to the rear of the car or further cost if getting someone else to install.

take radarrob's advice above and get a member to help you, especially with testing your setup.
