Has anyone connected the Bluetooth module?
If so, how do all the firmware upgrades and checks etc happen when you can't hit the various buttons like on the module.
Would appreciate any help
Also whilst driving it tells me what speed I'm going.
Why and how does it do this don't remember reading about giving our speed anywhere
Thanks

All features that the Control Panel had the Bluetooth module already has with much easier access. For example to write your statistics file you just press one "Write to USB" button. To memorize sensor positions the same thing one button. Serial Number, Firmware Info are all available from the "System Info" button. City & Highway Settings, and various other settings are also right on the app.

Downloaded 1.1.2 after I wrote and saw the great improvements.
However, when I go to system info, it keeps searching for the firmware and other information listed below it but never gives an answer it just says "reading".
I cannot therefore see if it has accepted the new firmware.
It has accepted my set up as it did upload back to the USB and I printed it out, so that works.
Why won't it read the information ?
Thanks :redface-new:

Because you do not have the current firmware on the unit. Download the firmware and follow the instructions on naming it correctly.
The name of the upgrading file must be: U2234567.bin (where numbers 2234567 stand for 7 digits of the system’s serial number). If you try to download this file more times, your computer may store each new download under a new name, for instance U1234567(copy1).bin In this case you may copy this file to the USB flash drive and change it’s name back to U1234567.bin.
ALPriority system will not recognize the firmware upgrade file if it is not named as instructed above.

BTW...
Once you plug in the USB flash drive with a new firmware into the USB socket of your AL Priority Control Box, multicolor LED on the Control Set will start to blink in different colors. If you have the current version of ALP Connect running it will show you an installation bar graph showing you the update status. The upgrading will take around 60 seconds. It may take longer if the USB flash drive memory was not cleared of other contents. After the system upgrades to the new firmware it will restart.
The ALP system will not start to upgrade if the file is corrupted, or if it is not named correctly, or if it contains present or older firmware version than one that has already been installed.

Hi,
Appreciate your time.
Am aware of the naming of multiple files and have the correct name on the USB.
Have esrased USB to FAT before storing file.
I did have an issue where early on after installing it came up with Error Code 6 but I booted on and off and it has not appeared again.
Maybe this is the problem even though it has jot come up with that message again.
The unit gives me speed and park sensor works obviously do not know if works against laser.
Will download file and erase USB again but maybe I have a problem with this code 6 that has not reappeared from before
Do you know what code 6 can mean?
Thanks again:redface-new:

I am pretty sure I know your problem. Did you buy from us? Even if you didn't PM me your serial number and where you purchased from.
