I have three questions:
1). If you connect an ALP unit to a constant 12v source does the unit pull any amps before you connect with the bluetooth app?
2). Has anyone found a reliable 12v switched wire under the front hood of a Tesla Model 3?
3). Has anyone done an installation on a Model 3 and if so, can you share the details?

1. ALP should be connected to a switched circuit. In a Tesla you wint drain the 12v Battery because if it runs low it automatically charges from your large battery.
2. Check with Tesla forums. I know In my S ther is several places to get switched power. Even cigarette lighter has no power when out of the car.
3. There are several but I dont have any photos.

Can only help w/ 2 answers:
1. From www.alpriority.com website (under FULL ALERT status - max current (amps) drain is 1.5a)
2. In quiescent standby state - current drain likely only ~couple hundred milliamperes (.2a)
