I am a new member from Massachusetts where no one does the speed limit.
I have a particular question, and I wonder if anyone knows the answer or knows who might have the answer. I have had Lexus LS's for several leases. The last 3 I had an installed Escort built in radar detection and laser jammer. Which which moved to each new lease as it began. Last time I had to get new laser jammer stuff, but basically kept the same system. Now, I have gotten the new Lexus LS 500, and the dealer is telling me that I cannot have a built in system because it might (or will - different Lexus people say different things) interfere with the advanced safety system. 1. Is that true? 2. I primarily want a laser jammer - I suspect that the radar detector is not as needed. Is there any form of portable - or semi-portable - laser jammer that i could have without messing up the warranty? Actually, that's two questions. Sorry. And thank you.

No, Its False and you can install a Laser Jammer in any vehicle. If you do not splice any vehicle wires and only tap power from a switched circuit there is nothing that your laser jammer can do that would void your vehicle warranty.

Thank you - and would this also apply - say - to the radar dectorfunction of the ALP Priority (if it has one)?

Good choice if you're going w/ the AntiLaser 'Priority' + NetRadar combination. It'll provide much better protection than you'll ever get from 2nd rate EscortRadar crap, in my experienced opinion !
Just make sure you're using an experienced professional if you're not doing the install yourself.

I'm in the Bay State & offer Testing services if you need some.
