ALP Connect Apk Confusion

I only run the apk to check for FW updates and/or apply them.

So I open the apk today and a popup asking me if I updated to a certain version with choices Yes or No. What if I choose the wrong answer?
I backed out and went to the play store to check there and to ALP update to see if there was anything new.

I reopened the apk and no questions this time it just opened with no messages or questions

Is it not supposed to see my version(s) FW or Apk and tell me there are updates?
I don't memorize version numbers. This is one of the things I enjoy about the apk and BT module.

What was up with that?If you read it you would have been given a notice telling you that ALP Connect will only give work with xx firmware or higher. It was asking you to acknowledge that.

While waiting I went through the process again and selected yes.

I guess I was put off and in haste.
