For the last 6 months I've been getting a "sensor check fail F1" message about every other start up. I finally checked it out last month when the weather warmed up. The sensor and control box connections looked good and shiny. I cleaned them anyway with contact cleaner and reseated the connections multiple times. I still the error message.
Testing them as parking sensors when set at sensitivity level 2, F2, R1 and R2 all activate when my hand is about 8 inches away. F1 activates at about 2 inches. Not sure if that is relevant.
I've tried to contact support on the ALP web site over the last few weeks with no answer so far, using both the "contact us" message box and the chat message box. I left a third message today. Do I need to contact them during normal working hours?
BTW, my system was purchased July 2015 and is still under warranty.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
