I had my ALP LED's working just the way I wanted before the last Firmware upgrade. Now I am looking for help to get back the way I had it set.
My System ALP 5 heads, 3 front, 2 rear.
HIFI Control Set Pad
GPS Antenna
External LED in dash.
Upon power up, both LED's would track each other. After 5 - 10 seconds External LED would go dark, but HIFI LED would flash dim current status of ALP. Both LED go to full brightness for alert.
Can not figure out out to get back to this setting. Currently Both LED's track each other. Can not seem to get Hifi to flash except with External LED!
What am I messing. Tnx :frusty:

Create a new Config file and choose the DIM LED option and choose level 1 on the External LED.

THanks, I was looking to solve the same issue.
On alert, both LED's go full bright? Any way to regulate the alert brightness?

No, On alert its designed to go Full Brightness to get your attention.

Wonderful, now the cop will wonder why my car turns into a 70's dance party when he shoots my car at night. :/
I think I'll either apply a light tint to the LED or try a resistor... AL should give us control over the LED on alert through the software.

if it bothers you that much you can also run without it ..did that for a while but realized it is a great thing to have the LED shine bright when there is an alert..it is very rare that a leo will question a light in your car unless they know about parking sensors..

I want the LED enabled, I just want to control the brightness. Not sure why we don't have this option available.. seems pretty simple to offer it.
I drive frequently at night in the middle of nowhere.. the alert LED is crazy bright and lights up the cabin when I'm hit.. I need to cut it's power at least in half!
