After update it would default back to default settings of 4 Second LID time w/60 Second warm up. You need to reload your settings file with your preferences after the update or keep your settings file on the USB drive and then it will automatically reload after each update.

Expected out tomorrow sometime is update to 4.4.1

Details of the 4.4.1 update (9/15/14)

    1. Status LED can now be a permanent light as well as blinking (flashing).
    2. Improved self-test routine.
    3. Improved and expanded various LIDAR routines.
    4. Various bug-fixes.

There are several improvements for some US guns and this update is highly recommended. If you have not updated in a while please make sure you upgrade to the new 4.4.1, Look for its release in the next day or so.
