    Stuck on Detect?

I am running a new ALP set up - 2 heads, BT, NetRadar. I have updated the firmware and set it up with no problem. Yesterday, it worked great. Last night, I connected the GPS antenna, reset the system and re-loaded the profile. Now it goes from Parking Sensor to Defense to Detect and stays on Detect (yellow car icon). How do I get it back to Defense (Blue car icon)?

Let me help you to help yourself as you appear to be a new user & are unfamiliar w/ its operation.
Sounds like you either pressed the Control Set at the wrong time or incorrectly characterized the Configure file.

We have numerous helpful Threads here on the AntiLasers full operation & how to set it up correctly, if you'll do a little reading:

Yep, complete newb. Than said, I set it up online, downloaded the setup via the BT/phone/wifi and when that didn't work I reset the system, got out the flash drive and loaded it that way. I am not using the Control, I have been using the Android app to do everything. I also looked at the many setup posts and read Vortex's entire blog set before starting. This has to be something simple, but is eluding me...

This was answered already on the other forum. When Using GPS if you set the Jammer not to Jam below a set speed you will be in detection mode until you travel above your set speed and it will at that time go into Defense mode.

Before looking at an Escort Radar Detector you should really check out Uniden Detectors.. Uniden R1 & R3 are the best performing radar detectors for the money.

Tom beat me to it. Turn your speed limit off. That's the key. That way it will ALWAYS be on defence mode. However, you're gonna have to load a new config file
