'' One of my favorite features of the new AL Priority system is the ability to capture an unknown laser source''

There are some details that i would like to learn : is the recording done automatically during every encounter ?

or do you have to set in record mode prior to a specific encounter.

Let's say i have an Osprey speed\range finder , and i want to record his pulses :
i just set the Alp in jam mode , shoot , insert a usb key ,
load the record , go to the site and upload the recording ?

    Devil is in the detail

No, you have to put it in to Record mode. Using the USB stick. It has been asked to be added to the app to switch into record mode. Mirage can correct me if I am wrong.

Mirage, just wanted to say thanks for the review. Being a member on the various forums, there are certain members whose opinions you can trust. Yours is one of them. Your review was key in me making the decision to sink yet more money into this "hobby" (obsession?) and order up a set of quad ALPs to replace my LIs. To their credit, my LIs have performed flawlessly and have never let me down, registering numerous saves - some of them in downright nasty traps. However, as the Dragon is on the loose around here, I felt less than confident in my level of protection and just had to have the peace of mind knowing that I have the best protection available. Looking forward to getting these installed and my first slaying of the Dragon. Thanks again!

Thanks I hope you enjoy the ALP. I was in the same boat as you were. Basically had no issues with my LI until the support stopped Once that happened I knew it was time. I was leary at first because I had also tried the Blinder HP 905 and had less that stellar success. The day that I first tested the ALP, I couldn't believe the results I was getting on two heads. It is the next generation of CMs IMO. Anyway I'm sure you will have the same success in your testing and I'm glad you enjoyed the review.
