ARRGH... Android Update Messed Me Up

I have two phones that I use the 1.8a ALPConnect with. I happen to be on a business trip away from home and today the system auto-updated to 1.9a.

OK... great I think until I get into the car and start ALPConnect. It wants my Bluetooth PIN again which is 500 miles from here in my ALP paperwork.

My dealer did not write the PIN down and the bluetooth module is not physically accessible due to the complex install.

Is there anyway to recover the Bluetooth PIN without physically looking at the module?

Unfortunately there is no default or master pin. The pin is only on the box and the back of the BT module. I can probably get it for you but it would not happen until tomorrow. If you PM me the BT serial number I can see if I can get it for you.

    PROTIP:

Take a picture of the PIN/SN numbers on your unit(s) so you have them in your camera gallery on your celly at all times.

I added an Outlook contact named "ALPConnect" with my PIN in the phone number field. Never thought the PIN would need to be re-entered due to a version update.

I have an old LG G3 with no SIM I use for the ALPCONNECT display and run Waze on my functioning Blackberry Priv. With V1 and Waze and ALPCONNECT and Speedcheetah 550 my run from Atlanta to West Palm Beach was fast, safe and fun.

Lots of local Georgia and GSP and FHP all blasting constant on radar especially in construction zones.

My ALP system alerted and jammed a DragonEye coming into Tifton, Georgia. He was at the top of the ramp and I was only car in the middle of three lanes. I managed to slow from a bit too fast to 76.
