You would have to use heat to stretch it to fit over the contours of the bubble. Also, I am under the impression that many of these films have features like IR blocking to protect what is on the...
Hey Yellowcab
I will never forget you. You were there at the Atlanta meet which was my first. You were the second person to shoot me with LiDAR. The first being in Gwinett county on my way in -...
The guy was going 159 KPH!? With cosine error it must have been higher!?
If this hasn't been tested yet, I could test this on the weekend if you tell me exactly which functions of YaV1 you want to know work.
I never got around to setting up YaV1 but I have the ALP...
My understanding is that a single head is enough for some guns... Probably when it comes to the variable pulse rate guns, you need two heads.
I cannot remember the reason behind recommendations...
I am having a similar problem. I have the HiFi controller. When my car is parked from morning to afternoon for 6-8 hours and I return, my ALP does not turn on. Since I have silent power-up enabled I...
+1 laser off
Also, turn Poliscan off if they don't have them where you live.
With this combo I have stopped experiencing laser falses.
Thanks, RALETC! Thanks YellowCab!
I was wondering what happened with the testing of Veil.
Thanks again.
Welcome to the forum! I am from AB but in the US temporarily for work.
Are you thinking of getting some active laser counter measures? Then you can disable the laser detection on your V1. :-)
What kind of alert will the V1 give through the HiFi? For example, will it say the frequency, direction, etc? I apologize in advance if I overlooked the answer.
Also, any promo for RG2? I am...
Can someone please explain where the delineation is? Thanks!
I am genuinely not satisfied with my purchase and a few days ago I decided to try and return my G5 to the vendor I purchased it from, Radar Roy.
Unfortunately once you open Veil, Radar Roy says he...
After it cures it is a hassle to remove. I found it was easiest to fill a cup with vinegar to dip the supplied brush in and then rub it like an eraser against the Veiled surface.
It was a true disappointment, for all of us, when we lost our long test course yesterday. Literally right after we finished all the baseline runs and were about to apply Veil. I am going to really...
I have an AB plate too. When I got the package in the mail the first thing I did was remove my plate and bring it inside to put a layer of Veil on. I had to wash it off before it got a chance to dry....
I removed it from the front before I left. It came off easily with vinegar.
It was IPT @ 1100 feet. I will keep it until we meet again at the normal course and test at distances >1100 feet.
Here is side by side shots:

Here is an encounter I had on...
So far tentative plan is to meet tomorrow morning w/ Jaguar. If anyone else is interested, PM me so I can text you the details once they are confirmed.

Can at least one person meet up and test this with me? Preferably in the next few days. Sunday has a 90% chance of rain.
Hey, welcome!! I am looking to go to Shreveport in April for a month for work!
Yes, shifter recorded most of them on his laptop. Some are on paper that probably need to be added.
I strong recommend against layering the double sided tape. I have tried it several times and never got the angle right. After wasting time doing this, I really think brackets are the best way to go....
Cool car!
CarTunes is a good place to go. I met Nick from CarTunes at a meet. Nice guy, nice car and most importantly, good sensor placement.
