I happened upon a video tour of this spectacular highway on Public Television yesterday.Part of it was filmed thru the W/S of a car,but even better was from a helicopter following the roadway at about 300ft above the coastline. It's the 1st time I've ever heard about this amazing road & its stunning scenic views.

Wonder how many of you mates from down-under have driven this gem ?

Yeah I recently did the trip when visiting friends back in Oct.
Beautiful part of the world.
Surprisingly liked portland even if it was a country town.
It's a lovely drive.

Can't wait for awhile of you guys to visit and enjoy it for your selves :)
